“Lily’s Album”

Students were encouraged to explore the language of mark-making through some process influenced by a force of nature. Such influences could be gravity, surface tension, propulsion, and fire. I chose water, with an emphasis on movement and flow. I designed an album cover piece with drawings I made for an art class at Chinese school when I was seven and some of my favorite projects from undergrad to symbolize the growth of my art.
